Fish house fire: Firefighters responded to a call at 7:40 p.m. Monday at the Kenneth W. Mann residence, 801 Memorial Drive, where a fish house in the driveway was on fire. According to the report, the fish house was destroyed and the front end of a fifth-wheel travel trailer damaged. Firefighters were at the scene for about one hour. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a propane lamp.

Hit-and-run: Lewis J. Watne, Grand Rapids, reported Monday that his tractor trailer sustained minor damage while parked at the Rainy Lake Medical Center hospital campus, 1400 Highway 71 W., where it was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
