Hit-and-run: Gerald F. Barton, White Bear Lake, reported Monday that his parked vehicle sustained damage when it was struck by a vehicle that left the scene at Kuttes Landing, Highway 11 West, near Pelland Junction.
Grass fire: Unpermitted burning of a brush pile March 17 lead to an uncontrolled grass fire Wednesday near the intersection of County Roads 29 and 99. According to the report, firefighters from Littlefork and International Falls and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources responded. No structures were damaged, according to the report. A DNR conservation officer is expected to investigate.

Collision: A vehicle driven by Mary L. Hummel, 54, County Road 94, struck a garage owned by Mary K. Boyum, Ninth Avenue, causing more than $1,000 damage.

Equipment fire: Firefighters assisted with removal of equipment within Boise paper mill owned by Fagen Inc. that caught fire Friday. The fire was extinguished when department officials arrived at the scene.

Bodies recovered: The Kenora OPP Detachment with the assistance of the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit has located the bodies of three missing people at Selkirk Lake. The bodies of Dianne Otto, 43, and Chris Mainville, 42, were located on Saturday. The body of Edward Everson, 53, was located on Sunday. All of the bodies were located in the water in the same area the body of Robert Kantimere was discovered on the ice on Thursday. The Kenora OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the incident. The OPP urges everyone to stay off the ice. Due to recent warm temperatures and rainfall ice conditions deteriorate very rapidly making for extremely dangerous conditions.
