International Falls Police Department
Citations: Falls police issued 19 seatbelt citations and four related citations during a blitz over the Memorial Day weekend.
Collision: Vehicles driven by Adam S. Bruce, 29, Ninth Avenue, and Kimberly J. Thomopoulos, 21, County Road 2 South, collided May 27 at Second Avenue East and 17th Street causing more than $1,000 damage.
Vehicle theft: Merle William-Burnel Jesme, Falls, reported May 26 that his vehicle was taken from Freedom Gas, 301 Fourth St. According to the report, the vehicle was recovered on Third Street the next day.
ATV theft: James A. Crawford, Eighth Street, reported May 26 that his three-wheel all terrain vehicle was taken from his residence. According to the report, the ATV was later recovered.
Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Burglary: Lex L. Jones, Town Road 237, Littlefork, reported Monday that it appears that two screens at his residence were cut, but it did not appear that anyone entered. No items were reported missing.
Burglary: Bonnie J. Erickson, Falls, reported May 22 that her cabin on Highway 71 near Margie was forcibly entered since last fall and two small bottles of liquor taken. According to the report, damage to the door was estimated at $500.
