Garage fire: Firefighters responded to a garage fire at 3:18 a.m. this morning. According to the report, the garage at the Terry Sabotta residence, Ninth Street, was destroyed. A cause has yet to be determined and firefighters spent about one hour at the scene.

Burglary: A 32-inch flat screen TV valued at $600 was reported taken from the St. Thomas Rectory, Fifth Street, on June 13. According to the report, access to the rectory is believed to have been made after a door was left unlocked.
Hit-and-run: John F. Sirois, Cloquet, reported June 13 that the left rear quarter panel of his vehicle was damaged while parked at Kmart, 1606 Highway 11-71, where it was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
