Burglary: Gary D. Hooker, Seventh Avenue West, reported Friday that someone kicked the door open to his residence, entered, and damaged items. The occupants at the home were not harmed. The suspect could not be located.

The Kenora Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a fatal boating accident that happened Saturday on Ash Bay of Lake of the Woods. Killed were Robert Foster, 71, Frankfort, Mich., and James Seney, 71, Sylvania, Ohio. A 62-year-old Kenora man remains in the hospital in Winnipeg in stable condition. The men were out for an evening of fishing with their guide. Their boat was discovered by another angler after it collided with a rock. Foster and Seney died at the scene and the other man was transported by ambulance to hospital.
