Gas leak: Firefighters responded to a gas leak reported at about 11 a.m. Thursday on property under construction near the Coffee Landing, 444 Third St. According to the report, firefighters were at the scene for about half an hour while gas company staff responded.

Theft: Kenneth W. Mann, Memorial Drive, reported Wednesday the theft of a Remington rifle, valued at $800, on Aug. 5 from his residence.
Hit-and-run: Cheryl D. Bjork, International Falls, reported Sept. 15 that her vehicle sustained damage while parked at The Outpost, 1731 Second Ave. W., where it was struck by a vehicle that left the scene. No damage estimate was included in the report.
Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office
Industrial accident: Scott Olson, 21, Blackduck, was airlifted Tuesday after he was injured when he became stuck in an auger at the Helblad Saw Mill, Kelliher. When deputies arrived, they found Olson, who had since been freed from the auger, receiving first aid for serious injuries to his extremities and torso. He was airlifted to an unknown hospital.
