Minnesota State Patrol Injury accident: Three Borderland residents were injured at about 7:45 a.m. this morning when the pickup Kaleb Holwell, 21, International Falls, was driving southbound on Highway 53 near Britt lost control, ran off the road and rolled over. Front seat passenger Thomas Sims, 19, of the Falls, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. Sims was airlifted from a hospital in Virginia to a hospital in Duluth with what the State Patrol reported as non-life threatening injures. Back seat passenger Colton Clark, 19, Littlefork, and Holwell were treated and released from the Virginia hospital. The report said road conditions were icy.
