Vehicle theft, recovery: A vehicle owned by Gregory H. Rust, County Road 25, Mizpah, was taken Sunday from his residence and recovered nearby a short time later, according to the report.
Vehicle fire: Deputies and the Loman Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire Friday at the Kim I. Bahr residence, Town Road 200. According to the report, the vehicle had just been purchased by Chaz A. Averill and was engulfed in flames when officials arrived. Cause is suspected to be a motor malfunction.
Vehicle tampering: Georgie M. Jensen, Second Street, Northome, reported Friday that she found a man sleeping in her vehicle, which was parked outside her residence. The man fled when she opened the car door and was not located, according to the report.
