International Falls Police Department
Theft: Joseph R. Donnell, Eighth Avenue West, reported Tuesday that three rings valued at $1,000 each were taken from his residence.
Vehicle theft, collision: A 26-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he took a vehicle from a residence on Tenth Street, crashed it into a vehicle parked at the same residence and was in violation of a no-contact court order.
Student removed: Falls police removed a male student from an International Falls school Dec. 21 after they were notified by school officials that the student had brought a knife to school. Police report that school officials were told by another student about the knife. Capt. Tom Lynch said the student with the knife said he brought the knife to school because he was afraid.
Collision: Vehicles driven by Patricia J. Staker, 58, McPherson Street, Littlefork, and Bryanna M. Harmel, 22, County Road 112, collided Dec. 20 at 17th Street and Third Avenue West causing more than $1,000 damage.
Collision: Vehicles driven by Amy L. Mastin, 64, Third Avenue East, and Matthew W. Pelland, 20, Fifth Street, collided Dec. 19 at Second Avenue East and 18th Street causing more than $1,000 damage.
Hit-and-run: Kathleen M. Siltman, 50, Spruce Street, Littlefork, reported Dec. 19 that her vehicle was struck while parked at 1313 Third St. by a vehicle that left the scene. No damage estimate was included in the report.
