Collision: An unoccupied vehicle owned by Steven G. Wiley, Falls, struck SuperOne, 1313 Third St., Monday after the transmission became engaged. No damage estimate was included in the report.

Snow vehicle collision: Members of the Rainy River District Detachment Ontario Provincial Police learned of a collision involving a single motorized snow vehicle in the area of Ash Bay on Rainy Lake. An investigation by members of the Rainy River District Detachment Ontario Provincial Police revealed that on Dec. 29 a lone male operating a motorized snow vehicle was ejected from the snow vehicle landing on the ice of the Ash Bay area of Rainy Lake causing his femur to fracture. The male was taken to La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances and subsequently flown to The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
