House fire: No information is available about a house fire that occurred Saturday on Second Avenue.

Collision: A Littlefork-Big Falls School bus carrying eight students and driven by Oleg Simutkin, 53, Front Street, Littlefork, and a pickup driven by Michael Gedde, 32, Tenth Street, International Falls, collided Wednesday at the uncontrolled intersection of Fifth Street and Sixth Avenue causing more than $1,000 damage to the vehicles. Both drivers reported entering the intersection at the same time and neither driver was able to avoid the accident. No injuries were reported. A second bus transported the children to their destinations. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene. The intersection is uncontrolled and was snow and ice covered at the time of the accident. No citations were issued. Deputies handled the call as the International Falls Police Department officers were at another call.
