A meeting planned for Wednesday will provided information about the next phase of improvements to the Highway 11 corridor in northern Minnesota.

The Loman to Pelland project is scheduled for construction in 2014-2015.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church community room, 7663 Highway 11, in Loman, and will start with a coffee and cake reception to close out the completion of the Indus to Loman project.

Deb Bauer, Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Loman-Pelland project manager, Jeremy Hadrava, MnDOT design engineer, and other engineering staff will be available to discuss project work schedules, time frames and traffic impacts of the project.

Upgrading Highway 11 from Baudette to International Falls to a 10-ton road without a spring load restriction has been a long term goal for the region.
