The following people have been sentenced in Koochiching County District Court by Judge Charles H. LeDuc for felony or aggravated misdemeanor crimes. The information is provided to The Journal by court staff.

Sheila R. Steinbach, 40, International Falls, was sentenced Oct. 4 for felony theft.

She was given a stay of adjudication and ordered to serve 20 days jail and pay $4,000 restitution. She was placed on three years supervised probation and ordered to provide 80 hours to the Sentencing to Serve program. She must submit to searches and sign a release of information. She may not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.

Frank M. Boyer, 42, International Falls, was sentenced Sept. 30 for gross misdemeanor body art — fail to obtain tattoo technician license.

He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,150 fine and court fees. All but 10 days and $150 were stayed on court conditions and he was placed on three years supervised probation. He was ordered to provide 80 hours community work service.

Robert E. Perry, 53, International Falls, was sentenced Sept. 23 for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation of license — posing a risk to public safety.

He was sentenced to one year jail and $3,350 fine and fees. All but 10 days and $250 was stayed on court conditions and he was placed on two years supervised probation. He was ordered to serve 32 hours with the Sentencing to Serve program. The jail time is to be served concurrent with another sentence.

Stefanie L. Holdstheenemy, 36, Ashland, Wis., was sentenced Sept. 26 for gross misdemeanor third-degree driving while impaired.

She was sentenced to one year jail and $3,200 fine and fees. All but 30 days jail and $1,200 was stayed on court conditions and she was placed on three years supervised probation. She was ordered to complete an assessment and follow the recommendations of an evaluation. She may have no alcohol or controlled substances and must submit to random tests and searches.
