The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office reports that the Department of Natural Resources has requested a road closure due to the fire conditions in northern Beltrami County.
Dick's Parkway NW which is the short cut from Fourtown to Warroad (in Minnie, unorganized and Yale Townships located 95 miles northwest of Bemidji) is closed to everyone, except for those that have a house and proof they live there.
Law enforcement will be staged to prohibit entry from either end of Dick's Parkway. Hunters and other outdoor activities are prohibited in this area due to safety concerns.
