Rotary guest
Daniel Nikcevich, left, was the guest of Clint Chase at a recent meeting of the International Falls Rotary Club. Nikcevich is the president and chief medical officer of the East Region of Essentia Health. He has fished Rainy Lake for the last 20 years and owns a home locally. According to Rotary members, Nikcevich spoke about the long relationship that Rainy Lake Medical Center has had with Essentia (formerly SMDC) and the value that would come to the community if they integrated.
