5K Snow Fun Run, canoe races, pizza toss and community play all features of winter celebration
Mother Nature has once again provided more than sufficient resources for Littlefork’s Snow Fun Days scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Folks in the area are invited to visit the annual winter celebration where a wide range of outdoor and indoor festivities are planned for the weekend.
For $2, a Snow Fun Days button not only admits people to all of the activities but also enters their names in “dozens and dozens” of drawings for chamber cash and prizes, say organizers. Buttons are for sale at Littlefork businesses.
A drive through Littlefork will feature snow sculptures designed by Littlefork-Big Falls students — displayed on the grounds in front of the L-BF School. The annual medallion hunt, with clues posted throughout the weekend at the Littlefork Community Building, will again be a feature of Littlefork Snow Fun Days. Wonderful prizes will be awarded to the one who finds the medallion, organizers say.
In addition, Littlefork business will be offering treats; and the Municipal Liquor Store will be offering drink specials.
