The 2012 Reindeer Run will be held Monday at Falls Elementary School with a kids 1-kilometer event set for 9:30 a.m. and a 5-kilometer run/walk starting at 10 a.m.
The 1K entry fee for kids is $5 each. Until Friday, the 5K entry fee is $5 each and up to $20 per family.
Late registration is $10 each.
Entrants are being encouraged to “think festive and merry” and wear jingle bells, Santa hats, elf costumes or reindeer ears. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Festive, Ugliest Sweater, Jingliest and Best Elf.
Registration forms are available at West End or Falls Elementary schools or on the school’s website at http://www.isd361.k12.mn.us/districtwide/pic/reindeerrunregistration12-13.pdf. Forms may returned to either school or mailed to Jenn Windels at 3217 County Road 24, International Falls, MN 56649. Checks should be made out to Jenn Windels.
Proceeds will support the Falls Elementary and West End Elementary Wishing Willow program, which provides books, classroom supplies and other needed items to the schools.
