Ohio State senior goalie Brady Hjelle of International Falls is a finalist for the CCHA Player of the Year.
Hjelle is joined by Miami of Ohio sophomore forward Austin Dzarnik and Notre Dame junior forward Anders Lee as the three finalists for the CCHA Player of the Year award.
The winner will be announced at the CCHA Awards on Friday at Fox Theater in downtown Detroit, prior to this weekend’s CCHA Championship, in which the Buckeyes face Notre Dame in the semifinals Saturday afternoon.
Hjelle, the 2013 First Team All-CCHA Goalie, earned CCHA Goalie of the Week honors a league-high five times this season and was the goalie of the month in November.
