The International Falls boys basketball team scored 33 points in each half Tuesday night when the Broncos lost at Mountain Iron-Buhl, 86-66.
Ben Humbert led the Falls in scoring with 29 points and recorded a double-double by also hauling in 13 rebounds. Cody Hallin was the only other Bronco player to score in double figures with 10 points.
Aitkin 59, Int'l Falls 50
After trailing by two points at halftime Friday evening, the Falls led by eight midway through the second half but ended up losing to Aitkin, 59-50, in the first day of the North/South Challenge in Virginia.
Humbert recorded a double-double for the Broncos by scoring 17 points and hauling in 13 rebound, while Jack Bartkowski added 10 points
The loss dropped the Falls' season record to 11-12 going into Saturday afternoon's North/South Challenge game against Hinckley-Finlayson.
