The International Falls Fusion 18U softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader Friday at Detroit Lakes.
In game one, the Fusion 18U fell in six innings to Detroit Lakes, 14-4.
Rachel Daubney pitched the first 3 1/3 innings for the Falls in recording the loss, adding 12 runs, five earned, on five hits with three walks.
Casey Meyers pitched the final 1 2/3 innings in relief, allowing two unearned runs on four hits with two walks while striking out a batter.
The Fusion 18U had only four hits with Lexi Graves, Janet Humbert, Daubney and Maddie Truty recording a hit apiece.
In game two, the Falls lost 9-2 to Detroit Lakes in six innings.
Graves pitched the first four innings in recording the loss, allowing eight runs, seven earned, on nine hits with two walks and two hit batters while striking out one.
Meyers pitched the final inning for the Fusion 18U, giving up an earned run on two hits with a walk.
Emily Treat, Taylor Sears and Humbert each had a hit for the Falls.
The Fusion 18U, whose record dropped to 6-8, close out their season this week with doubleheaders Wednesday at Park Rapids and Thursday at home against Dryden.
