Friday’s icy/snowy weather in northern Minnesota resulted in all of the evening’s high school games for International Falls and Littlefork-Big Falls being called off.

The Bronco girls basketball team’s home game against Hibbing was rescheduled for Monday. (See related story on B1.)

Friday’s Bronco boys basketball road game against Northeast Range was postponed until Feb. 25.

The Bronco girls hockey home game against Park Rapids Area was postponed Friday, while last Saturday’s road game against Brainerd has been rescheduled for this Saturday at 7 p.m.

Friday’s Bronco boys hockey road game against Greenway has been rescheduled for Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Friday’s Viking boys basketball road game against Northland was canceled.

In anticipation of icy weather a day earlier, Thursday’s Viking girls basketball home game against Kelliher/Northome was rescheduled for Jan. 29 at 7:15 p.m.

L-BF won Monday’s regularly-scheduled game at Ely, 41-38. The Vikings, who improved to 9-2, were led in scoring by Abby Thompson with 13 points, while Breann Larson added 12 more.

The Bronco girls basketball team was able to get in Thursday’s road game against Grand Rapids, where the Broncos lost, 71-55.

Though all the local high school games for Friday were called off, the Rainy River Community College women’s and men’s home basketball games took place as scheduled last weekend.
