Broncos junior Gunnar Anderson has been selected the Arrowhead Conference’s Male Athlete of the Year in voting of the conference’s athletic directors, International Falls athletic director Don Rolando has announced.
During 2011-12, Anderson has been a three-sport athlete, playing quarterback/ defensive back in football, guard in basketball and outfield/infield/ pitcher in baseball.
The Arrowhead’s Female Athlete of the Year is Ely junior Amy Bianco, a three-sport athlete who has participated in cross country running, Nordic skiing and track and field.
