International Falls closed an impressive regular season Thursday with a 12-6 win over Roseau at Scheela Field on Parent’s Night.

Chad Sohlman rebounded from a poor outing Wednesday at Hermantown and tossed a compete game for the win, surrendering six runs — five earned — on seven hits with two walks and one strikeout.

Chris Little powered the Broncos offense with a 3-for-3 performance with two runs and three stolen bases. Mike Menard finished 2-for-4 with three runs and four stolen bases, Daniel Eldien went 2-for-4 with two runs and Jacob Casareto mashed a three-run homer.

Tyler Orgon allowed nine runs — seven earned — in four innings to take the loss for Roseau (10-7), who entered the contest riding a six-game win streak. They had also won nine of 10. Ethan Kvidt went 2-for-4 with a double and Orgon finished 2-for-4.

Official Section 7AA seedings haven’t been announced, but the Broncos all but assured themselves a top seed with a 14-3 overall record. They will host the No. 8 seed Wednesday at Scheela Field.
