Not all the International Falls boys golfers were present to participate last Friday and Saturday when the Broncos tied for 11th in the two-day Northern Invite at The Quarry at Giants Ridge with more than 20 teams competing.
The Falls ended up with a team total of 690. Hermantown won the tournament with the low team score of 618, followed by Roseau (633), Grand Rapids (639), Virginia (641) and Centennial (666) in the top 5.
Roseau senior Jared Strand was the individual champion with the low score for 36 holes of 148. The best finish by a Broncos golfer came from senior Brett Musich, who ended up in 12th with a 158.
