The Falls High School girls' basketball team is on a three-game winning streak.

vs. Littlefork-Big Falls

First, the Broncos beat the Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings 78-66 at home on Friday.

Top scorers for the Broncos were:

  • Chloe Sullivan - 25 points (9 field-goals and 7 free-throws)
  • Deelyla Budris - 13 points (5 field-goals and 3 free-throws)
  • Holly Wold - 11 points (6 free-throws, 1 field-goal and 1 three-pointer)

Top scorers for the Vikings were:

  • Destiny Piekarski - 23 points (6 three-pointers, 3 free-throws and 1 field-goal)
  • Kenzie Swenson - 15 points (9 free-throws and 3 field-goals)
  • Danielle Piekarski - 12 points (4 field-goals and 4 free-throws)

Viking head coach Mason Imhof said he was happy with how his team performed.

"Even though we didn't come out on top, it was a fun game to be apart of," he said. "We can take a lot away from this game and use it to move forward down the stretch and into the playoffs."

The Vikings were back in action on Tuesday when they traveled to take on the Northland Eagles, the results of which were unavailable at press time.

vs. Duluth Marshall

The Broncos followed up by winning 82-80 at home against the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers in a double-overtime thriller.

Top scorers for the Broncos were:

  • Libby Miggins - 25 points (5 field-goals and 5 three-pointers)
  • Grace Gilbert - 22 points (9 free-throws, 3 three-pointers and 2 field-goals)
  • Deelyla Budris - 13 points (5 field-goals and 3 free-throws)

vs. Greenway

Finally, the Broncos defeated the Greenway Raiders on the road Monday evening by a score of 71-40.

Top scorers were:

  • Chloe Sullivan - 20 points (5 field-goals, 3 three-pointers and 1 free-throw)
  • Grace Gilbert - 15 points (6 free-throws and 3 three-pointers)
  • Holly Wold - 12 points (4 three-pointers)

The streak puts the Broncos' record at 11-11.

The Broncos will be back in action at 5 p.m. Saturday, when they travel to take on the Roseau Rams.
