Boys’ team comments
Paul Hjelle (boys’ head coach): The boys came ready today and pushed two really good teams in Mesabi East and Ely. We are very proud of this team and we know this team gives 110 percent in every event.
Jack Maxwell: The team did really well today. Personally, I feel very good about how I did, making it to sections in all of my events. It’s good to see the rest of the team do well towards the end of the season too.
Hunter Wilson: Today was a great meet. Every single one of our runners gave it their all. I think we showed a lot of people that we shouldn’t be overlooked.
The Broncos who qualified for sections will compete in Duluth starting at 11 a.m. Thursday.
