Brady Walls

The Broncos’ Brady Walls watches a long putt head toward hole No. 2 during Wednesday’s Falls Golf Invite at the Falls Country Club. Walls, who sank the putt, placed sixth with a 78 for 18 holes.

In the one and only golf meet the Broncos will be hosting this season, Internationals Falls won both the boys and girls competition at Wednesday’s Falls Golf Invite at the Falls Country Club.

The Bronco boys had the low team score of 311, 3 strokes ahead of runner-up Warroad (314), followed by the Dryden “Blue” team (316), Hibbing (326) and Eveleth-Gilbert (352) in the top five.

Falls had three golfers end up among the top-six individual scores led by senior Brett Musich, who carded a 72 for first place. Junior Zach Manka had a 75 to finish fifth, while sophomore Brady Walls recorded a 78 for sixth.

The Bronco girls also finished with three golfers in the top six and had the low team score of 370. Eveleth-Gilbert came in second with 377, followed by Hibbing (388).

Falls senior Kelly Blair had the top individual score of 82. Senior Malinda Porter placed fourth with a 94, while senior Alyssa Bergstrom came in sixth with a 95.
