In the final regular season meet leading up to the start of the Section 7AA Tournament on Thursday, International Falls’ boys golf team finished fifth and placed two golfers on the All-Tournament Team at Friday’s Virginia Invitational.

Hermantown won the meet with the low team score of (290), followed by Virginia (304), Superior (307), Duluth East (316) and the Falls (320) rounding out the top five out of the 17 teams with four or more players completing the 18 holes at the Virginia Golf Course.

Virginia senior Olaf Walkky had the top individual score at 68, 2 strokes ahead of Hermantown senior Andy Krasaway.

Two Bronco boys golfers were among the top 12 to make the All-Tournament Team. Senior Brett Musich tied for sixth at 74, while sophomore Brady Walls won a playoff to claim the 12th and final spot with a 77.

Falls will compete Thursday in day one of the Section 7AA boys golf tournament at Giants Ridge. The top four teams advance to day two of the Section meet on May 30.
