Two golf meets late last week produced the same results in the standings for the International Falls’ girls team by ending up in sixth place both times.
In Friday’s Bemidji Invite, the Broncos ended up with a team score of 375 points tied for sixth with Staples-Motley.
Detroit Lakes finished first with 318, followed by Pequot Lakes (348), Bemidji’s No. 1 team (355), Grand Rapids (366) and Brainerd (370) rounding out the top five.
Falls’ best individual scores for 18 holes came from seniors Kelly Blair and Malinda Porter, who both carded a 90 for 18 holes.
Detroit Lakes also had the top-three individual finishers with Trisa Hutchinson coming in with the low score of 76, followed by Natalie Roth (78) and Kate Smith (81).
Grand Rapids Invite
The Broncos tied for sixth with Hermantown at 378 strokes in Saturday’s Grand Rapids Invite.
Detroit Lakes once again won the team title with 319, followed by Grand Rapids (331), Elk River (347), Bemidji (351) and Moorhead (370) as the top-five finishers.
Blair posted Falls’ best individual score for 18 holes at 86, followed by Porter at 92.
Detroit Lakes also recorded the top-three individual scores with Smith and Roth both ended up with a 78 and Hutchinson carding a 79.
