L-BF football team loses on road to NR

 

Littlefork-Big Falls’ football team could only muster a single touchdown Friday when the Vikings lost a road game against Northeast Range, 30-8.

The loss dropped L-BF’s record to 1-6 in the Big North Conference. 

The Vikings’ lone touchdown against the Nighthawks came on a pass from Bryce Burmeister to Rylan Henrickson.

Burmeister, who completed four passes for 45 yards, also led L-BF in rushing with 47 yards on eight carries.

The Vikings close out the regular season at home tonight against Bigfork, prior to the nine-man football playoff beginning next Tuesday.  

 

L-BF spikers sweep Kelliher/Northome 

 

Littlefork-Big Falls’ volleyball team dominated Monday’s road match when the Vikings swept Kelliher/Northome, 25-16, 25-14, 25-11.

L-BF’s statistical leaders included: Abby Thompson, six kills, four blocks; Brooke Millerbernd, three aces, 10 kills, 11 digs; and Courtney Pfeifer, nine aces, seven kills, 13 digs.

The Vikings play their final regular season match today when they host Nashwauk-Keewatin at 4 p.m.
