The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced on Christmas Eve that Fort Frances Lakers forward Jordan Christianson has been named the Pizza Hut player of the week for the period concluding Dec. 23.
In three games during that week, the 20-year-old Falls native tallied nine points with two goals and seven assists.
On the season, Christianson is third in the SIJHL in assists with 26 and sixth overall in points with 38. The Lakers are also 8-3 in games this season in which he scores at least one goal.
