Freshman forward Jordan Christianson of International Falls scored the game-winning goal in overtime Tuesday to lift the Concordia-Moorhead men's hockey team to a 2-1 home victory over the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Christianson's winning shot on goal from in front of the Falcons' net at 1:41 of the extra session was assisted by Tucker Coborn and Jeremy Johnson.
"(The puck) was in my skates and I was lucky to get a stick on it," said Christianson, who scored his fifth goal of the season.
The win marked the first game of the new year for the Cobbers, who then returned to action Friday night at home against Marian University.
