Nate Bailey, 15, of Hopkins, won Thursday’s Coca-Cola Junior Golf Tournament at the Falls Country Club by a stroke.
Bailey carded an 88 for 18 holes with a 44 on both the front and back nine. He edged out Riley Nemec, 13, of the Falls, who ended up with an 89 after also having a 44 on the front nine and then finishing with a 45 for the final nine holes.
Brett Lindvall, 13, rounded out the top three in the 13-15 age group with a 110 for 18 holes.
In the 11-12 age group, which golfed only nine holes, Josh Cann recorded the top score at 45 with Trevor Becvar placing runner-up with 53.
The 9-10 age group also golfed nine holes with Justin Besch finishing first at 54, followed by Myles Mason at 65.
In the girls division, Morgan Hedlund finished first with Olivia McBride coming in runner-up.
Falls Country Club PGA professional Tom O’Connell said 66 golfers aged 15 and under participated in this year’s Junior Golf Tournament, which also included a putting contest, drawings for prizes, etc.
