The second annual “Bass Dash 5K Run/Walk” begins at Smokey Bear Park at 9 a.m. Saturday on the weekend of the eighth annual International Falls Bass Championship.
The five-kilometer course, which will finish inside the main tent at the park, is the same as last year.
The run/walk entry fee is $25, which includes a T-Shirt and a spaghetti dinner being served at the Backus Community Center on Friday night. Those already registered will be able to pick up their shirts there at that time.
Race-day registration will take place at the Smokey Bear Park Pavilion from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Medals will be awarded to the top-three males and females in seven age divisions.
