Kelly Blair, a 2012 graduate of International Falls High School and current member of the Bemidji State University women’s golf team, placed fourth Friday at the Bemidji State Invitational held at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.

Blair and junior teammate Rachel Wold both carded an 86 (14-over par) after 18 holes, but Wold placed third because of having a better score on the final nine holes.

BSU freshman Monica Wold finished first with a score of 80. The Beavers also won the team title by recording a 339, 33 strokes ahead of the second place team, Minnesota State University, Moorhead, in the three-team tournament.

The Beavers will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Brainerd to compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) fall championship.
