The first Bronco Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Saturday night at the AmericInn in International Falls.
The nine who will be honored this evening as the Hall of Fame’s first inductees include: former football players Bronko Nagurski, Bronko Nagurski Jr., Frank Youso and Jim Crotty; former hockey players Tim Sheehy and Dick Dougherty; former track hurdler Tony Lynch; former hockey coach Larry Ross; and former football coach Stuart Nordquist.
Prior to the program honoring the inductees at 7 p.m., the social hour is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. with the dinner to follow at 5:30 p.m. A roast turkey dinner is planned.
Tickets for the event had been sold in advance. Bronco sports booster and Falls High School math teacher Timm Ringhofer said tickets won’t be available for sale at the door when the induction ceremony is held Saturday night.
