Two International Falls players competed with the North Red Team to an 11-2 win Monday at the VFW All-Star game in Chisholm.

Falls players Ben Humbert and Wyatt Ulrich were a part of the team that consisted of boys baseball players from schools in the Falls, Virginia, Eveleth, Ely, Hibbing, Grand Rapids, Cherry and Chisholm.

The opposing team, the South White Team, consisted of boys from Deer River, Mesabi East, Marshall, West Duluth, Cloquet, Duluth East and Proctor.

The game was held at the Doc “Moonlight” Graham Field in Chisholm at 6 p.m.

 The game included players from northeastern Minnesota “who have made great achievements in their VFW careers as well as in helping their team succeed this season,” said a game spokesperson.
