Ella Oveson, 9, caught this walleye on Rainy River near Birchdale Feb. 25. The fish weighed 9 pounds and measured 28-3/4 inches long. The fish was caught while Oveson was fishing with her grandfather, Neil Westover, Birchdale, who poses with the fish for the photograph.
