Mason Meyer, a 2012 International Falls High School graduate and currently a forward on the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s Fort Frances Lakers, scored a goal and added two assists Monday night when the Lakers defeated the Dryden Ice Dogs, 6-3, at Ice for Kids Arena in Fort Frances.
Meyer, who has played in 11 regular season games for the Lakers in 2012-13, has three goals and nine assists this season. He is one of three Laker players from the Falls along with forwards Jordan Christianson and Alex Bruess.
Fort Frances returns to action tonight with a road game in Cloquet against the Minnesota Wilderness.
