RRCC Fall Baseball Instructional League
The Rainy River Community College baseball team will be holding the Voyageur Fall Baseball Instructional League for players in grades 3-8 (ages 9-14) on the next four Saturdays — Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29 — from 9 a.m.-noon at Rizzo Field.
The Instructional League will provide an hour of instruction on fielding and hitting each session followed by a two-hour instructional game.
The hitting portion of the camp is designed for baseball players who want to improve their swing mechanics and mental awareness at the plate and focus.
The infield fundamentals portion will focus on the mechanics of the ready position, fielding position and throwing position.
In the event of inclement weather, Sundays will be used as a back-up day starting at noon. Attendance at all sessions is recommended, but not required to be a part of this league.
The cost of the Instructional League is $100 and includes a T-Shirt. Payment can be made at the RRCC main office, or by making checks payable and sent to: RRCC Baseball, 1501 Highway 71, International Falls, MN 56649.
