Dave Cronin and this 25-inch, likely female, walleye shine at dusk Sunday. Cronin caught and released the walleye while fishing east of Island View on Rainy Lake with son, John, whom he credits for the catch. Cronin reports that John set the tip the big fish was caught on as they were packing up to leave. Cronin notes that this fish appeared to be a female and ready for the spring spawn.
