This week’s record-setting warm weather has been melting away the winter snowfall and making it possible for local spring sports teams to already begin practicing outside. Falls freshman Savanah Olson throws the shot put during Wednesday’s practice. Olson qualified for the Class A state meet in that event last year as an eighth-grader for the Broncos.
