The night sights and sounds at Voyageurs National Park will be explored from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday.
A “Dark” ranger will lead a hike on the Echo Bay Trail where participants will hear about creatures of the night that live in Voyageurs National Park.
Participants should meet at the Echo Bay Trailhead, located on Northern Lights Road (County Road 332) off of County Highway 122 in the Kabetogama Lake resort area. Look for brown directional signs on County Highway 122 to guide you to the trailhead.
Participants who would like to bring a headlamp or flashlight, should consider using red or green-colored lights, which are the most desirable as these colors do not interfere with night vision.
