Rainy River Community College sophomore setter Nakita Estling has been named as one of eight volleyball players to the 2012 Minnesota College Athletic Conference’s All-Northern Division First Team.
Estling, who played in 96 games this season, recorded 632 set assists for an average of 6.58 assists per game.
In the voting for All-Northern Division players, Estling received the seventh-highest total at 60. Central Lakes Libero Sarah Miller topped the voting at 105.
Estling, who is from Warroad, has also been recognized as the MCAC North’s “Co-Setter of the Week.” She tallied 30 set assists in the Voyageurs’ season-ending match victory last week in five games at Hibbing and added six digs and an ace serve.
