Following the ACHA Women’s Division 2 National Tournament held earlier this month in Wooster, Ohio, three hockey players from Rainy River Community College have been named to the All-Tournament second team.
They include two forwards, freshmen Courtney Laycock and Chelsea Poulton, and defensive player Jenna Brady, a sophomore team captain.
Over three games, in which RRCC went 2-1, Poulton recorded a goal and two assists, while Laycock added an assist.
The Voyageurs ended up placing fifth in this year’s six-team ACHA W2 tournament.
