Three sophomore players on this season's Rainy River Community College women's volleyball team have received Minnesota College Athletic Conference All-Northern Division honors.
RRCC Libero Jasmine Draper and hitter DyAna Imhof have been named to the MCAC All-Northern Division First Team.
In 91 regular-season games, Draper led the MCAC North with 550 digs (6.04 digs per game). She was named the division's “Defensive Player of the Week” on three occasions this season.
Imhof, who played in 94 regular-season games, had 277 kills and ranked fourth in the MCAC North with 2.95 kills per game. Her kill percentage of .271 ranked 10th in the division. She was named the MCAC North “Hitter of the Week” on two occasions this season.
Another hitter for the Voyageurs, Katie Langaas, was named to the MCAC All-Northern Division Second Team.
Langaas also appeared in 94 regular-season games and had 235 kills to rank ninth in the division with 2.5 kills per game. On the season's first week, she was named the MCAC North “Hitter of the Week.”
RRCC, which advanced to the NJCAA Division III Region 13B Tournament for the first time since 2011, ended the season in the region semifinals with an overall match record of 18-13.
