Volleyballs were being tossed high into the air Wednesday as a group of elementary-aged students grades 1 through 7 practiced their best digs, serves and bumps.
The camp, 'Up North Volleyball Camp,' was led by Mel Millerbernd, and took place from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday through Friday at Rainy River Community College.
Other coaches assisting with the camp included Andrea Huschle, Teagan Anderson, Kressen Anderson, Brooke Millerbernd, Shelby Nosan, and Kim Wimmer.
The 29th annual volleyball camp for grades 8 through 12 will begin Monday at 9 a.m., lasting until noon and taking place again in the afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. The camp will end at noon Thursday, where awards will be given out for serving, superstar competition, 4 on 4 tourney, team competition and champs of the court.
