Sydney Gordon of International Falls, a sophomore on the College of St. Scholastica softball team, batted 3-3 with a double and a run scored last weekend when the Saints won the nightcap of a doubleheader against North Central (Minnesota), 12-3, in five innings.
Going into Tuesday’s scheduled doubleheader against Northwestern College, Gordon, a middle infielder, batted .304 (7-23) with three doubles and three runs scored this season.
She started in 11 of the 13 games she appeared in for St. Scholastica, which compiled a 10-9 overall record after last weekend’s action.
