DULUTH (AP) — Austin Farley and Tony Cameranesi had a goal and two assists apiece to lead Minnesota Duluth to a 4-0 men’s hockey win over Alabama-Huntsville on Saturday.

Farley scored on the power play at 5:18 of the second period to give the Bulldogs (12-17-5) a 3-0 lead. He assisted on UMD’s first two goals by Cameranesi and Mike Seidel.

Wade Bergman scored the Bulldogs’ final goal at 8:10 of the third period assisted by Cameranesi and 2010 Falls High School graduate Willie Corrin.

Corrin, a freshman defenseman, recorded his first-career point at the collegiate level with the assist.

Aaron Crandall had 23 saves for UMD, which outshot the Chargers 46-23.

UMD snapped a nine-game winless streak with a 4-2 win in Friday’s series opener. The Bulldogs improved to 4-0-0 all-time against UAH.

It was the final series of the season for the Chargers (3-21-1), an independent team joining the WCHA next season.

UMD will close out its WCHA regular-season schedule with a two-game series this coming Friday and Saturday at AMSOIL Arena against the University of Nebraska-Omaha, which is coached by Corrin’s uncle, Falls native Dean Blais.

The Mustangs won both games over the Bulldogs when the two teams faced each other Nov. 10-11 in Omaha, Neb.
