Saturday’s 74-degree temperature was embraced by area youngsters who got their fill of ice cream, time at the park and even a swim in Rainy Lake. Last week’s below-normal temperatures for the month suggested the summer season hadn’t quite found its way to Borderland, but a forecast from the National Weather Service in Duluth predicts temps into the mid-to-upper 70s throughout the week.
